The best kept secret in Westminster is Pork and Beans Store - and I'm almost scared to share this one! They've got incredible sandwiches (Reuben pictured here) and an awesome selection of coffees. Any and everything from this place is great and leaves your stomach wanting more! 

Come check them out and grab a bag of coffee to take home while you're there! It's definitely a neat little deli - it's right off of Hahn Road.

I'll be honest... when I'm on a plane, I can't sleep. Even if I have to get up at 3 am for a flight, there's no chance I'll be able to sleep. My friend, Phil, here.... well, he can sleep on planes (clearly - haha!). 🛫

Looking for a delicious and healthy bite to eat? Nora's Kabob in Ellicott City is the place to go!! Their hummus appetizer is simply delicious if you're looking for a bite to share with the table. My personal favorite is the chicken kabob platter - just thinking about it makes me hungry! 

It's right off of route 40 in the Village Green shopping center. If you live or work in Ellicott City, this is the place to go! I frequent this spot so I'll probably even see yah there, haha!

You might have heard small business owners and restaurateurs say this, but with the food and labor crunch right now, I think it's even more true. If you want small, local shops, to exist...you need to choose to spend your money with those folks. Contrary to what people assume, consumers choose who wins their dollar and therefore...who stays in business.

The reason I'm so passionate about local diners and cafes (well, their food is objectively tastier) is because "Mom and Pop" shops overwhelmingly provide teenagers with their first job to learn and gain experience. Small cafes are integral to developing the Central Maryland workforce.

That's why when I'm getting lunch, I choose a local restaurant.

Last week, I stopped by my favorite place to grab a delicious sandwich (and incredible shake) at EC Diner here in Ellicott City.

10/10 would recommend.
