📊 Mortgage Market Update – Happy Tuesday! 🏡

Mortgage rates are holding steady with little movement yesterday.

📉 Will the Fed cut rates?
A CNBC survey shows 65% believe the Fed will lower interest rates to offset rising costs from tariffs and slowing economic growth. If that happens, mortgage rates would likely follow.

🏠 Home prices:
We’re seeing the slowest home price growth in 13 years—up just around 2% year-over-year.

💡 What would get buyers off the sidelines?
Morgan Stanley says rates don’t need to drop to 2021 levels—91% of potential buyers would jump in if rates hit 5.5%!

👀 Gen Z & Millennials are watching closely:
70% of renters from these generations are waiting for rates to come down. But the "starter home" mindset is fading—60%+ say they’d rather wait for their dream home than trade up later.

I had a great experience with Co-Mo Connect this week that i'd like to pass on. The road to my cabin has been a solid 3 inches of ice for the past few weeks, and the hill has been unclimbable without a sherpa, horse, or a 4WD. I wasn't expecting them to even attempt a Fiber Optic install, but three crews managed to get it done in horrible conditions.

The internet is ridiculously fast. If you need me, I'll be futilely trying to beat my teenage son in Call of Duty.
