Today is my 61st wedding anniversary. Robert and I had such great plans but, unfortunately, not meant to be. After he passed away, I went to New Zealand and Australia by myself. The cruise director was telling jokes and trying to get the audience involved. He asked everyone who had been married 40 years, stand up and then set back down. Same thing for 50 Years. When he asked anyone been married 60 years, stand up. One lone man stood up. The cruise director said "tell us your secret, how did you stay married to one lady for 60 years"? The man said "DON'T DIE". There is not a minute that goes by that I don't miss him. Friends ask me have I ever thought of remarrying and I have said a resounding "NO".

Frances & I took the Rocky Mountain train across part of Canada, and stayed at 5-star hotels at night. We bought the gold package which gave us a total glass dome. It was a wonderful trip!
