☀️ Renter’s Summer Tip: Help Your AC Run More Efficiently

Did you know something as simple as changing your air filter can help prevent AC issues and even lower your utility costs? If you notice ice on your AC lines or your system struggling to keep up, your filter may be the first thing to check.

A few quick tips to help keep your home cooler this summer:

❄️ Change your air filter regularly
❄️ Our office may already have your filter size on file and can help guide you on how to replace it
❄️ Don’t turn your thermostat down drastically to cool faster — this can overwork and freeze your unit
❄️ Instead, lower the temperature gradually a couple degrees at a time
❄️ Try not to set your thermostat much lower than 68-70 degrees
❄️ Keep blinds closed during the hottest parts of the day
❄️ Keep interior doors open for better airflow and circulation
❄️ Close vents in rooms that are rarely used

Small steps can help avoid larger AC problems during the hottest months of the year! 🏡

On Friday, the Jacobs Property Management team gathered one last time at Sycamore to celebrate the end of an era 🥂✨. We enjoyed amazing food 🍽️, drinks 🍸, and plenty of laughter 😂 while saying a heartfelt goodbye to a place that has been part of so many great memories in our community 🤍.

Today marks 54 years since Delton Jacobs started Jacobs Property Management. 🏡

What began with a vision, hard work, and a commitment to serving the community has grown into a company built on relationships, trust, and generations of experience.

For more than five decades, Jacobs Property Management has helped residents find places to call home while continuing to grow and evolve with the communities we serve. That legacy would not be possible without the support of our residents, owners, vendors, team members, and community partners throughout the years.

We are proud to honor Delton Jacobs’ dedication, leadership, and the foundation he built 54 years ago today.
