Twenty years ago, they walked into my office as tax clients.
This week, I handed them the keys to their forever home.
Meet the Dillard family.
For more than two decades, I've had the privilege of serving this wonderful family through career changes, military retirement, investment properties, family milestones, and life's many seasons.
The last photo in this post was taken years ago in my tax office. Back then, none of us knew that one day I would have the honor of helping them purchase their forever home.
What you see in these photos is the celebration.
What you don't see is the journey.
This transaction came with twists, delays, challenges, and moments when the finish line seemed to keep moving. More than once, it would have been easier to walk away.
But we didn't.
Together, we stayed focused on the destination, worked through every obstacle, and this week we made a successful landing.
Moments like this remind me that real estate is about much more than houses.
It's about trust.
It's about relationships.
It's about being there when people need someone they can count on.
Mr. and Mrs. Dillard, thank you for trusting me with your financial needs for more than 20 years and now trusting me with one of the most important purchases of your lives.
