My real estate career began many years ago, helping my parents with their Real Estate business in Florida. Many Thanksgivings were shared with people we barely knew, in the midst of a major move, and our home was always open to them. That feeling of helping people to achieve their dream, I knew was more than just selling homes, it was reaching out and letting people know that you would be there, every step of the way, so they always had someone they trusted to help them get to their happily ever after. Creating friendships that outlast the sale and understanding the needs of the people you are working with has and will always been my goal! After graduating from high school, I attended college, only to take a small hiatus to raise my children. My husband and I have seven, so you can imagine it takes a lot to shake me! Being a Private Investigator for almost 20 years during that time is probably why we were able to raise 7 relatively GOOD children!! Several times over the years, I continued my college education, graduating at the age of 47 with a degree as a Paralegal! Anything worth attaining, sometimes takes a little time and effort! During that time, we were also blessed with SIX fabulous grandchildren! If I knew how great grandchildren were when I was younger, I think I'd have had them first! This has definitely poured over into my real estate career. Listening to what people are saying is how you really understand your clients. The relationship between client - agent is so important, because, let's face it, whether you are a first-time home buyer or a seasoned home renovator, this is one of the biggest and most important decisions you will ever make. Having someone you trust should be priority, and I do not take that responsibility lightly. I am with you every step of the way, whether we look at 1 house or 30 houses, my commitment to you and to achieving your goals is priority! I understand the diverse assortment of feelings that occur with each move. I'm a military mom, and I've seen and experienced those feelings firsthand. Selling a house or buying a new home - my goal is that your end result is satisfying and peaceful! My husband and I have lived in the Columbia area for more than 15 years. Both of us Northern transplants, I knew when we arrived, this was home! It's not just the location or the scenery or even the 70 degree January days, it's the feeling of home you can't help but get the minute you arrive! I'd be honored to help you on your journey. Finally!!!! Happy Birthday Sami-girl!!! Twenty four years ago - almost 5 weeks early! You certainly did not wait around for an invitation; but instead, decided to show up because you had things to do. And you haven't stopped doing them!!! I am so proud of the woman you have become and the life you are living. Some may call it an 'I don't take any crap attitude', but I choose to see it as my strong little girl! Life sometimes throws curveballs at you, but if you learn how to dance in the rain (and what a dancer you are!) you will always be one step ahead. Keep smiling, never forget the rule of five! If you continue through life on those tippy toes, anything that you want is yours for the taking. Just remember, anything that's worthwhile, requires effort. I know you understand that, and I am proud to watch you strive to be everything you can and do everything you can with an open heart. Anything you do out of goodness is never a waste of your time!! Just remember, no one can see how pretty your eyes are if you're rolling them!! 😆 who gets so lucky to get their baby girl an BFF in one person!!! The dreams I had, couldn't come close to the reality of how awesome that little girl turned out to be. I love you to the moon and back again and I hope your birthday far exceeds the birthday week! So last night we sprung ahead. If you haven't changed your clocks better get on it because you're already late for everything! This morning I was supposed to meet Easton's teammate because they have a soccer tournament in Atlanta. The parents were going to take Easton. I told Greta to make sure they know about the time change. What follows in the next few photos is how our morning went. I can't make this stuff up.
