As the summer break draws to an end, we are still celebrating another successful transaction! We recently had the privilege of assisting first time homebuyers who were also relocating from out-of-state. We know that moving to a new place can be exciting for some and very stressful for others. That’s where our experience in the local market and trusted partnerships shine as bright as the South Carolina summer’s day sun. So nice had to sell it twice!

for our awesome clients that are closer to being family than friends. If you have questions that need answers, situations that need fixing, or houses that need to be sold or purchased, it would be our pleasure to help you in all aspects of your real estate transaction.

This year for my birthday, I would like to ask you to read this post.

I would like to highlight, bring such deserved attention to, and humbly ask for donations for a cause that is so worthy and justified of being lifted up - Olly Otter. If you are not familiar with him, click his profile name, scroll through his page and look at the indescribably important work that he does. To all of those who have faced these types of situations, my heart breaks for you. I know with a surety that there is hope in the midst of despair, and it is so clear to see how much Olly matters to our community - that's why in 2022 he was awarded Best Independent Program by the National Mascot Hall of Fame. Let's lift him up so that he can continue to lift up those around us.

Kicking 2024 off the right way!☝️🏆

Player-coaches are an extremely rare phenomenon in American professional sports. The most notable and legendary would arguably be Curly Lambeau from Green Bay, Wisconsin, who not only was a player-coach but also founded the Green Bay Packers. South Carolinians may think of Gamecock quarterback and NFL legend Dan Reeves, who participated in 9 Super Bowls, and was a multi-year Assistant Coach-player as running back for the Dallas Cowboys.

A listing broker is a lot like a player-coach. You have to understand timing. You have to know when to watch, when to call the play, and when to take the ball. We manage our listings and coach our clients in real time, and it’s always an absolute pleasure to have active clients who also understand the game themselves. We feel blessed by having clients who are true teammates.

When I started this company 26 months ago, I quickly found out that there were more formative steps and regulatory tasks than I was aware of, or really could have even expected there to be. Did you know that each real estate company has to create a company handbook that includes policies and procedures? If you’re an agent, have you read yours? Does it seem copy-and-pasted? Does your brokerage seem copy-and-pasted?

One of the many undertakings on the checklist was to create a company vision. Simple questions like “What does your company do?” and “What value does your company have?” weighed heavier on my mind than they were surely intended to. Our Vision Statement is as follows:

Strengthening The Carolinas continues by extending our hands in helpful ways. Even as a full-service brokerage, our focus remains with our individual clients. A modern market in a traditional setting: That’s where you’ll find us building lasting relationships, one neighbor at a time.

Zach and Lindsey are the embodiment of that vision. Selfishly, we wish they could have stayed here in the Midlands. Dutifully and carefully, it was our pleasure to guide them into homeownership.
