Hello fiends! I just wanted to let you know I am a certified Radon gas tester using the latest testing and reporting equipment available. Radon is a radioactive gas that is odorless and invisible which is released naturally thru rock, soil, and water. Radon is the number one cause of lung cancer among non-smokers. Hello friends! One of the most common defects I see while doing home inspections is defective or missing smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. It is recommended that there be at least one smoke and CO detector on each level of your home (including basements). Also, a smoke detector in each bedroom and any room with a fireplace is required. The life expectancy of detectors are about 7 to 10 years. If you notice that your detectors are turning yellow, it is likely time to replace it. Keep your families safe and check your detectors!
