Had the BEST time last night at our Annual Cinco de Mayo Mixer! 🪅🌮🥳

Apparently I was having too much fun talking to everyone because these are the only two photos I ended up with all night 😅🤣 Truly there for the fiesta.

Home inspection day 🔍🏡

Today we had a full inspection done on this Fortson home my buyers have under contract — and when I say full, I mean everything.

Roof ✔️
Major systems ✔️
Attic, exterior, all the things you don’t see in photos ✔️

This is where the real details come out.

We’ll have the report in hand tomorrow, and from there we go to work — negotiating repairs, maintenance, or credits to make sure my buyers are protected.

Because here’s the reality…

These clients are buying this home sight unseen.

That means they’re trusting me to be their eyes, their advocate, and their voice on the ground.

And I don’t take that lightly.

PCS moves come with enough stress — timelines, distance, uncertainty. My job is to remove as much of that as possible and make sure when they arrive, they’re walking into a home that’s been fully vetted and fought for.

I’ve been through PCS life myself… I know how much it matters to have someone in your corner who’s going to handle the details like it’s their own home.

Tonight’s office view. 🖥️❤️

Wrapping up an offer for clients who will be PCS’ing here in a few months and preparing an ATAC amendment for another buyer who’s already under contract on the sweetest little home. The inspection report brought a few items we want to address before moving forward — so the laptop is open and the contracts are flowing.

Meanwhile, my kids are beside me on the couch watching a movie, completely unbothered by the real estate negotiations happening in the background.

And honestly… this is the life I’ve always prayed for.

Being able to provide for my family, serve my clients well, and still be present for the little moments with my babies.

Real estate isn’t just about houses for me — it’s about building a life that allows me to be the mom I want to be.

I woke up to this message a client sent me after closing on their home a few months ago now, and it honestly stopped me in my tracks. 💗

Sometimes in this industry people measure success by numbers — top producer rankings, volume, and how many transactions you can close in a year.

But if I’m being honest… that has never been what success looks like to me.

Success to me is this.

Helping someone find a home where they can imagine their grandkids playing in the backyard one day.

My partner in life and business officially closed on his old home today, and I could not be more proud of him. This closing marks the final page of an old chapter and the beginning of a brand new one. Sometimes the road to get here isn’t easy, but watching God’s promises unfold exactly when they’re meant to is something I will never take for granted.

Hard work, faith, patience… and today it all paid off.

One of the greatest blessings of my career as a Realtor® is the flexibility it gives me to be present for the moments that matter most — being a mom. 💚

Today I had the absolute joy of visiting both of my children’s classroom for Read Across America Week and getting to read to their class. There is something so special about walking into your kid’s school and seeing their excitement when they get to say, “That’s my mom!” 🥹

For the story, I chose a book that is extra meaningful to me — written by one of my dearest friends and my childhood vocal coach. Watching her creativity and heart come to life through this book has been such a joy. I even brought along the hand-crocheted Richard the Spider so the kids could see the character come to life! 🕷️
