Introducing the 2nd of 3 special teachers I am collecting schools supplies for. Meet Ms. Lisa Oney, Kindergarten, 31 years, Prairie North Elementary. When asked her "WHY"?... "I teach because there is absolutely nothing in this world like planting a seed in a child's mind then watching it bloom! Their excitement for learning inspires ME to continue to learn right alongside them. Our class mantra is, "We can do hard things!" and they prove that to me every single day. Not everyone can say they touch the future and I don't take that responsibility for granted. It is a true blessing!"
