As the weather warms up you’ll want to make sure the recent crazy weather hasn’t damaged your home. Check the following and call me if you need a contractor recommendation.

- Check for leaks - under sinks, spigots, water spots on walls and ceilings, etc…
- Look at your roof (from the ground)- missing or lifted shingles, sagging gutters, etc…
- Check your furnace, change the filter, clear vents, schedule maintenance
- Walk your foundation - look for cracks, pooling water, low grading
- Test smoke and carbon monoxide alarms - replace batteries

We’re seeing the highest inventory since 2016, with days on market creeping up (31.8% year-over-year). Homes are still appreciating in value, but price cuts are becoming more common. 🌟

📈 Central Ohio Market Update – June Snapshot 🏡
The summer market has been interesting! Here’s what we’re seeing across Central Ohio:
🔹 Inventory is up — More homes are hitting the market, giving buyers more options than we’ve seen in recent months. The last time we saw this much inventory was Sept 2019!!
🔹 Closed sales have increased — Buyers are still actively purchasing, proving demand remains strong. Though with more options, homes are sitting just a bit longer and buyers have more power
🔹 Home prices continue to appreciate — Values are rising, which is great news for homeowners looking to build equity.

So what does this mean for YOU?
✅ Sellers: It’s still a great time to list. More inventory does mean competition, but motivated buyers are out there, and rising prices are on your side. A well-prepped, well-priced home can stand out
✅ Buyers: More choices and slightly less frenzy = a better shot at finding the right home without having to overpay or waive everything. Don’t wait too long, though — values are climbing.
