Showe Management is now hiring ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COUPLES who will be provided complete hands-on training for the Assistant Manager position. While previous experience in a similar people management position is a plus, it is certainly not a requirement, as each team member will be trained side by side in our method of management by qualified, experienced on-site managers, all of whom have multiple years of property management experience.
One of the Assistant Manager team will be trained in the administrative functions of the office and the second team member will be trained in the maintenance of the physical facilities within the property.
Upon successful completion of the hands on training you will be given the opportunity to be managers of your own community. The keys to your future will depend on you both as qualified team members.
Salary and benefit package:
The wage structure is $50,000 per year to start (shared equally by each team member). Housing is rent-free and utilities, gas and electric, are also included in the package, as well as available medical, dental and vision insurance plans, a 401K plan with a company match, paid vacation after 6 months of employment and nine paid federal holidays.
Our properties are family friendly and to that end Showe welcomes immediate family members to live with you in the apartment. This also includes properly behaved pets, such as a dog or a cat, with proof of proper pet paperwork.
Job Qualifications:
• Be able to work as part of a team with the training managers.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with residents and staff.
• Support the training managers in the daily operations of the community.
• Must be able to live on-site in assigned apartment.
• The ASSISTANT MANAGER TRAINING TEAM must work together with all company staff members to maintain decent, safe and sanity housing for all of our residents and constantly work towards 100% occupancy at the property and be financial stewards of company property and funds.
• Both team member must be able to physically perform their job functions which could consist of computer operations and also include stooping, kneeling, crouching, working in confined spaces and lifting up to 50 Lbs.
• All applicants will have a background screening as well as a drug test before hiring.
