If you scroll through my feed, most of what I share is celebratory. The shiny keys, the sold signs, the happy beginnings- because those are the moments we naturally want to capture and share. But the quiet truth of this work is that not every sale comes from a place of joy.
Behind many lockboxes are stories that are emotional, complicated, and heavy. Homes end up in total disarray, not because people didn't care, but because life happened. Estate settlements after a loss, unexpected health struggles, financial strain, or simply a situation that grew too overwhelming to carry alone.
Spotting this weathered yellow Do-It-Yourself Manual lying in the dirt at a showing this week stopped me in my tracks.
