Credit scores don’t tell the whole story.

As of November 16, 2025, conventional loan guidelines changed, giving lenders more flexibility when reviewing credit profiles. Buyers who were previously limited to certain loan options may now have the opportunity to explore conventional financing as well.
This doesn’t mean approvals are guaranteed. Lenders still look at income, debt, savings, and overall financial stability. But it does mean there may be more options available depending on your situation.
