In January of 2021, in the midst of the pandemic, she embarked on a new career as the Office Manager and Operations Manager at Hometown Realty. Over the next two years, Leslie worked closely with the company's Broker, Jody Davis, gaining valuable experience in the administrative side of the real estate business. Leslie's expertise in business and technology proved to be invaluable to the growing H

ometown team. She brought her years of experience to the table, helping to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Her hard work and dedication paid off when she obtained her real estate license in August of 2022, which allowed her to transition to a full-time Realtor in 2023. in Business Administration from Williams Baptist College and a M.S. in Instructional Technology from Mississippi State University. She grew up on a farm in Arkansas and is the oldest of four girls. For over 25 years, she has been a Mississippian. Leslie is not just a successful professional but also a talented musician who has traveled extensively with her husband, Dennis, as McKay Project, playing Americana/Gospel music. Leslie plays the bass guitar, while Dennis plays other stringed instruments such as the guitar, mandolin, and banjo. Together, they also own a music teaching and recording studio in Columbus, Mississippi, called Studio 115A. Leslie's love for writing led her to start a blog called McKay Project, where she occasionally posts her entries. In addition to music and writing, Leslie has recently taken up violin lessons and has rekindled her love for crocheting. She has even turned her passion for crocheting into a side hustle, creating unique crochet items that she loves to make. Leslie's philosophy is that one is never too old to learn something new or try something new. Her willingness to learn, grow, and adapt has been a significant contributor to her success, both personally and professionally. Leslie is an inspiration to all who know her and an asset to any team or community she is a part of and welcomes any opportunity to help those looking to buy or sell their home or property.
