I’m not sure how long this will last with all the uncertainty , but Mortgage rates have been drifting lower in recent weeks ahead of an expected rate cut from the Fed at its meeting next week.

Traders see nearly 90% odds of a 25-basis-point move on Sept. 17. But mortgage rates could just as easily begin moving higher again, as they did last year after the Fed cut benchmark rates by 50 basis points in September.
