Buy now or wait? That’s the Million $$ Question if you’re wanting to purchase a new home. Waiting for rates to drop dramatically may not gonna be worth wait, and here’s why.

Home prices have been steadily increasing for the last 4 years nationwide right along with the rates. If you wait for rates to drop, you may be waiting along time. In the mean time, home prices are continuing to rise in strong job markets like Central Ohio.
The price of the home you want, may go up another 5% to 10% easily over the next few years.

If rates do drop, a buying frenzy may ensue, driving prices up even further, as many current home owners don’t wanna sell right now and are waiting.
According to a January 2024 study by the online real estate brokerage Redfin. About 4 in 5 homeowners have a mortgage rate below 5%, according to a January 2024 study
