Happy 34th birthday to my favorite nephew. We are only 5 years a part so it was weird being an aunt so early but over the years I've actually enjoyed it. I am so proud of you Kerrington. You are hilarious, generous, and extremely loyal. I hope that your day is full of love, and that this year brings you even more blessings. Two weeks ago I delivered a speech on the beauty of sisterhood and friendship. I talked about how growing up we moved around a lot lamenting about how I moved three times in the third grade. I further talked about how I have collected friends throughout my life and talked more in-depth and cried when I talked about my longest friendship with Samar who I have known since we were 12 and 13 in the 8th grade. I testified about how God allowed us to meet in Atlanta and both go to college in Florida and both end up moving to Ohio in 2014. We are both married to men from Columbus and are here for the foreseeable future. This picture perfectly encapsulates our friendship easy and fun. Samar is ALWAYS a breath of fresh air and she is the person I will always call when I need a gentle place to land. She will fix me tea and remind me that I am loved and I will be okay. Thank you for being my friend.

I have the most amazing mother ever. There is no distance she won’t travel to be there for me whenever I need her. She is also so loving and her love language is gifts. My mom has never visited me without bringing me clothes, makeup, and home decor. I love you Mama and I pray daily that God gives us many more years together. Happy Mother’s Day Mana!

So Titus wanted to wear his Easter suit to school for picture day. He also wanted to wear a Jesus piece. I couldn’t latch the one he wanted to wear so we chose another one. He said mommy I don’t have to be afraid I have Jesus with me. He then said he’s going to tell all his friends at school about Jesus. I don’t deserve him 🥲
