I've been asked about the 50 year mortgage. In my opinion the average age of a home purchaser is almost 60. If this option allows young people to buy and get a house great. For those opposing the other options are still available. And you can refi a few years in or even pay extra and pay off early. But what your saying is your okay if someone rents for 50 years rather than be building equity at a slower rate.
