in Athens, GA and graduated from the University of Georgia Magna Cum Laude with an ABJ degree in advertising and public relations in 1971. While at UGA, she was a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Zodiac - an organization that recognizes the top 12 rising junior women with the highest GPA. She was also a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority where she served as Vice-President. Ruthie served her community while raising her children, Martin Bowles Yoder, Lizzie Bowles Ross and Jesse Bowles. She has been acitve in community affairs having been the Race Director for the Steeplechase at Callaway Gardens in 1996 and has been affiliated with the Columbus Symphony, Girls Club, Inc, and the Columbus Regional Tennis Association Board of Directors. She currently serves on the boards of the State Botanical Garden of Georgia, the Columbus Botanical Garden and the Chattahoochee Valley Camellia Society and attends St. In 2002, she was selected to be the honoree for the American Cancer Society's Crystal Ball. Ruthie brings passion for people to her real estate business and has enjoyed working with buyers and sellers alike. She enjoys her affiliation with Bickerstaff Parham and the friends and colleagues she has made along the way.
