Believe it or not, I'm holding a bagel in this photo - not a pumpkin! I still have noooo idea how they're able to bake them this way - they're so cool!

If you haven't tried Bagels and Jam Co in Hilliard, you have to. Because trust me, they are as good as they look.

If you like chewy bagels that are crisp on the outside, just like NY style bagels - these will be your jam! (pun intended)

My personal favorite is the Asiago bagel. You can have it made as a yummy breakfast sandwich which will have you begging for more.

If you're more of a sweet treat breakfast person, their French toast bagel is heavenly - 'nuff said.

And if the bakery side of things isn't your jam (still, pun intended) grab a specialty coffee or matcha. Literally everything they make is really good. I can confirm, because I feel like at this point, I've tasted half of the menu haha.

Alright, I need to wrap this post up... I'm starting to get hungry just typing about it - LOL!

The word I’d use to describe the month of September would be “full.” However, that’s not a bad thing - here’s what it was full of ⬇️

September was FULL of travel! Dan and I spent almost a week in Boise, Idaho for our annual marketing mastermind. Neither of us had ever been to Idaho, so we had no idea what to expect, and boy, have we been missing out on the fun! We loved the cleanliness and amazing food (yes, lots of potato dishes were devoured, and we have zero regrets.) We enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the mountains surrounding their downtown, and I truly believe they have the friendliest people around. We rented scooters, rode around the city, and explored any chance we had outside of the conference.

Our notebooks were FULL from the conference. Gathering with the best agents from around the US and Canada is something I’ll never take for granted. Our days were packed with knowledge acquisition, mindset alignment, and learning new strategies for building a business that fuels our lives. I walked away with formulas for creating amazing ads and techniques for overcoming obstacles.

Our tummies were full because we ate the largest cinnamon rolls. We did a $100 tip club for the owner of the bakery who just lost her husband (the lead baker) to cancer. We were able to raise over $3,300 for her to start some much-needed remodels to keep the bakery doors open.

The karaoke stage was full all night. We loved hanging, singing (very out of tune) and just having fun nights together as a group outside of the conference room.

Our schedules were FULL of helping people with their real estate dreams come true. We helped 3 buyers find their perfect homes - and one of them has been searching for almost 3 years… talk about crossing a rewarding finish line. We also helped sell 2 properties for the Morrill Family (because after 40+ years of being landlords, they were d-o-ne!) Watching people walk into retirement or get married and buy their first home is so rewarding.

And lastly, the Cleveland Browns' scoreboard was FULL of points when I went to a game (I was shocked). We won! We were able to honor the retirement of my favorite Browns player, Nick Chubb.

Like I said, September was full - and as a result, so was my love tank. Life is good and I’m feeling extra blessed!

Hank Aaron once said, “It took me seventeen years to get three thousand hits in baseball. It took one afternoon on the golf course.” I hope that’s as relatable to you as it is to me. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the similarities of golf and finding a home in this market. For most of us, it’s an exercise in patience and, if you’re like me on the links lately, great frustration.

You may shank a drive and not find anything at all. You may 3-putt an easy one and get outbid on an offer. You may get your ball stuck in a tree (true story) and have an offer fall through at the last minute.

But any great golfer will tell you, the one thing you can do right away to improve your game is to take intensive lessons. Immersing yourself with a professional is the fastest way to get on track and have success.

I think the same is true when you’re looking for a home in the Central Ohio area. At least, that’s the approach I take with my clients. A good golf coach is going to use years of experience to show you what you may be missing; they advocate for you and know what adjustments to make.

And while I’m no Tiger Woods haha, I have helped numerous clients get into their dream home – even in this rough market. I take the time to help my clients find their stroke.
