Leyco Real Estate was established in 1978 by the husband and wife team of Crockett and Dorothy Leyendecker. Crockett was a 6th generation rancher of Colorado County and a former County Commissioner. In October 2017, the next generation of Leyendeckers took over in their granddaughter, Kimberly Johnson, and great-niece, Currie Luedecke. Kimberly has been a Realtor since 2008 and has served on an ad

visory board for the Houston Association of Realtors, was named a "Top 20 Under 40 Rising Star in Real Estate" by HAR in 2016. Currie is a former special education teacher and has been a Realtor since 2015. In 2019, Currie was named the "Favorite Realtor" in Colorado County by the readers of the Colorado County Citizen.
