Wishing the happiest birthday to the woman that keeps me young, forces me outside my box, loves unconditionally and somehow becomes even more beautiful year after year - inside and out🔥
It's been such a challenging year and you've tackled it with grace. Between completely shifting your career path to accomplish your aspirations, to having to see me every day - literally 24/7 (thanks COVID). I'm so proud to call you my wife, . Love you ❤️

This one is for all the lawn care nuts out there! I’ve always wanted a nice lawn and finally made the commitment to do it right. Weeded, scalped, dethatched, aerated, seeded. A month later, we have a lawn!! It was a lot of hard work and I questioned myself along the way but couldn’t be happier with the results!

Introducing our quarantine baby, .9 a mini Aussie/Pomski mix and a bundle of energy!

His favorite hobbies include eating mulch, digging holes, and chasing cats (mainly his two cat bros, Leo and Frankie). He absolutely loves meeting new people and playing with other dogs at the park!

Having a nice backyard for him to run around in was must when buying our house and definitely something you need to consider as a dog owner or a future dog owner! It’s great to have an area where they can run free but also grow into as they get older and bigger.

To see more of little Kygo, you can check him out .9 and follow all of his fun adventures!

One of the most exciting parts of our Asheville trip was getting to visit the which is the largest privately owned house in the country, and it was breathtaking in its sheer size and scope! The architecture was absolutely incredible, and even though it was built in the late 1800s, many of the design elements would be just as popular in a home today!

The architect, Richard Morris Hunt, designed this home for George Washington Vanderbilt II, and it’s just one of many incredible works of his, including the great hall of The Met in NYC and The Breakers, another Vanderbilt mansion in Newport, RI.

The outside landscape was just as incredible and beautiful too. The views were stunning, and the gardens and pergolas were gorgeous.

The estate was a very inspiring look at how design that’s over a 100 years old can be just as relevant in homes today. It really made me think about how I can incorporate the past into my current projects, and I really hope to one day visit again!

One of my favorite parts of our trip to Asheville was checking out the local food scene, and it didn’t disappoint. It was hard not to post everything I had, so I tried to pick a few highlights.⠀
â €
The first night we went to and we’re absolutely blown away. What a great way to start the trip. The Joyce Farms chicken primavera and Heritage farms pork chop are in the first picture followed by the S’mores torte. SO good! Everything here is locally sourced, and it’s fantastic.⠀
â €
Next up is probably one of the best and most interesting donuts I’ve ever had from the shop. All of them are handmade to order, and you can definitely taste the care they put into them. Unreal.⠀
â €
Later on we went to and had a lot of fun drinking in the beer garden there. They had some tasty ales, and the burger was really good.â €
â €
The last two pictures are the smoked trout ravioli and mushroom risotto from restaurant and bar. The day before we had gone hiking and spotted so many mushrooms that as soon as I saw the risotto, I knew I had to have it. Another two thumbs up on this place!â €
â €
We were so impressed by our Asheville dining experiences and the connection they all have to the community! I’m really excited to get back here and explore, and hopefully all of my Columbus followers can find some inspiration here to check out the city!

What you're looking at here is ***cobarn one of the LARGEST antique malls I've ever been to. Lucky for my wife and I, the Airbnb we stayed at in Asheville was literally a stone's throw away from it, otherwise we may have never found it!â €
â €
The mall is in what used to be a HUGE to***co auction barn with a total of 77k sq/ft of space! The selection of goods was both remarkable and overwhelming but so inspiring at the same time. Walking up and down every square inch, there were so many items we wanted to take home but we had to focus! Eventually we made it to the back of the barn where there was a reclaimed lumber yard with wood dating back to the 1800's. Here is where we decided we were going to make a purchase. â €
â €
My wife and I have been in the process of designing and remodeling our bedroom and were stuck for the longest time on the mantelpiece to put over the fireplace... But no more! I stumbled upon a stack of old beams that were recovered from the abandoned Old Crow Distillery built in the late 1800s, and we knew we found our match. Eventually we were able to settle on a beam we thought had the most potential and cannot wait to restore it and add it to the room. The idea of bringing some history into our bedroom to make it stand out and provide a personal touch has us both so excited, and we are so eager share the final product! We've always loved mixing antique goods into a modern home design to provide warmth, texture, and a unique touch, and we are so happy we stumbled onto this gem that will provide just that for our bedroom.â €
â €
TLDR - Stumbled onto a giant antique warehouse in Asheville. Bought a beam recovered from an 1800s distillery to incorporate into our bedroom remodel!

Always on the grind whether it’s cleaning and flipping the Airbnb in the mornings, working my day job, or doing real estate work at night and on the weekends! Keeping busy working toward multiple goals really strengthens my work ethic while not burning myself out.

We’ve always prided ourselves in providing a clean space for guests at our Airbnb, and we take that seriously, especially in times like these! If you’re going to work hard to build something, you may as well do it right.
