What’s it like working with your spouse? If we’re judging by Emily and Zach Yoko, apparently it’s a lot of fun - and comes with deep gratitude and some serious success.

We put Emily and Zach Yoko through a few rounds of questions - from when you should actually call your Realtor and how they navigate couples with completely different priorities, to drafting their own dream house one must-have at a time.

Turns out, they don’t agree on everything either, and Zach has one particular feature he’s absolutely not willing to leave off the list.

What happens when you ask two sisters who sell real estate together to draft their perfect house?

Lauren and Cam of the Smith & Kinnear Real Estate Group sat down to make their picks - from architectural style to the must-have feature and the dream luxury bonus - and naturally, they had some opinions.

This sister duo brings such a great mix of experience to real estate. Lauren’s background with one of the world’s largest retailers shaped her eye for detail, communication, and understanding what matters to different people, while Cam’s two decades in outside sales sharpened her ability to negotiate, listen, and advocate for her clients.

Together, they make buying or selling a home feel personal, thoughtful, and genuinely fun.

After more than 42 years in real estate, our broker Cindy Braun knows a thing or two about what makes a great agent.

When she started thinking about what comes next, it felt fitting that the answer was family.

We’re incredibly excited to officially introduce The Legacy Listing Group, featuring Cindy alongside her daughter-in-law, Melissa Braun, and her niece, Joy Pardi.

This is a team rooted in family, built on Cindy’s decades of experience, and strengthened by three women who each bring something distinctly their own to the table.

Melissa is returning to real estate after previously working alongside Cindy as a licensed agent nearly a decade ago. Before that, her career in visual merchandising at the Abercrombie & Fitch Home Office gave her an incredible eye for seeing what a space can become - a perspective that allows her to help clients look beyond what’s in front of them and envision the possibilities within a home.

After taking time away to raise her four children, she’s ready to return to a career she loves.

Joy brings a different kind of experience after spending the last 10 years owning her own business.

At the heart of everything she does are relationships, customer service, and a genuine desire to make people feel taken care of.

Those instincts translate naturally to real estate and to the kind of client experience this group wants to create.

For Melissa and Joy, joining The Brokerage House also came with a pretty great reference.

Cindy has spent more than four decades in this industry and has seen just about every side of it, so when she speaks highly of the culture, collaboration, and caliber of agents here, it means something.

August gave us a lot to be grateful for - and one number in particular stopped us in our tracks.

Through August, The Brokerage House has reached $292.2 million in year-to-date sales volume, meaning we’ve already achieved approximately 98% of our entire 2025 sales volume with four months still to go.

The Brokerage House remains the #1 real estate office in Upper Arlington, #2 in Grandview, and among the top offices serving Olentangy, Dublin, Hilliard, and the greater Columbus market.

The numbers are exciting, but how we’re getting there matters most.

Our agents share opportunities, collaborate on transactions, bring deep knowledge of the communities they serve, and genuinely want to see one another succeed.

That creates a better environment for our agents - and an even stronger level of representation for our clients.

July marked another milestone for The Brokerage House, with $40.7 million in sales volume, bringing our year-to-date total to more than $267 million across 470 homes sold.

That’s already nearly 90% of our total 2025 sales volume, putting us on pace for what could be our strongest year yet.

What makes this even more meaningful is how we’ve achieved it.

Among the Top 25 real estate offices in Central Ohio, we’re the only brokerage to surpass $200 million in sales volume with fewer than 100 agents.

With just 40 full-time professionals, we’ve continued to lead in sold-to-list price while ranking among the very best in days on market, agent productivity, and in-house collaboration.

One of our favorite things about The Brokerage House is seeing our agents find meaningful ways to give back to the communities they serve.

A huge congratulations to Abby Carfagna and Tori Cipro for hosting such a wonderful Ice Cream Social and School Supply Drive alongside their partners at Ruoff Mortgage.

More than anything, it was a reminder that real estate is about so much more than buying and selling homes - it’s about investing in the communities we’re proud to call home and creating meaningful connections that extend far beyond the closing table.

There was no better place to host it than Carfagna’s, a Central Ohio classic that’s been part of Abby’s family and has been family owned for generations.

It made the afternoon feel even more special, bringing together family pride, community, and a shared commitment to giving back.

We were blown away by the incredible number of school supplies collected to help local children head back to school with confidence.

Seeing clients, families, and neighbors rally around such an important cause was truly inspiring.

From the face painting and balloon animals to Carfagna’s famous gelato, every detail made the afternoon one to remember.
