We get so much enjoyment from working with clients again and again. Ming is no different. She and Zhaobin were referred to me from past clients years ago. I helped them buy their first home back in 2017 and then, years later, purchase a new build. Fast forward to today - we just closed on the sale of this Grove city property!

Clients that trust us time and time again make this job what it is.

We’re talking outdoor kitchens. Who wants one? Who uses one? Is it on your short list of wants in a new home?

Is this the best place to spend your money? That’s a hard one. Done right and if it fits the home, we say it could be a 10.

But we’re curious what you think on this. If you have one, do you use it? Outdoor entertaining space is often high on a buyer’s list, but once you settle in, what do you really think?

Get rid of the big clunky furniture if you’re selling your house. We know it’s a big ask, but it makes a big difference.

We could give you a list of reasons why, such as your big furniture makes your room looks smaller or it dates your room.

But mostly, it’s because homebuying is an emotional process and buyers want to see themselves in your house. We don’t want them to get stuck only seeing the furniture and not the home itself.

Frank and Emilie wanted a home that had some uniqueness to it and they were trying to find that home while living out of state.

That’s what can make relocating to a different state feel overwhelming. We work with relocating buyers all the time, so we have a process that helps make this easier.

For Frank and Emilie, we started with a tour of Columbus that included multiple neighborhoods to get a clear idea of what they like and didn’t like. From that, we were able to set up specific search criteria for the type of properties they were looking for.

This Little Turtle condo they recently closed on, checked so many boxes and a great view! Two fireplaces, updated, close to the highway for a quick work commute.

We realize that our out of state buyers can’t always be physically available every step of the way. That’s where we step in and help!

It’s hard to believe our 7th and 8th cabins at The Reserve at Big Pine will be closing in the next couple of months. We’ll also be breaking ground on the final two lots (9 and 10) that will close out this development in the heart of Hocking Hills.

From our initial meetings about this idea, to getting the road (Hawthorne Way) approved and breaking ground on our very first cabin….every part of this experience has taught us something.

In all of that, we’ve never lost sight of building something that we’d be proud to put our names behind.

If you’re interested in getting into one of the last two remaining cabins The Reserve at Big Pine has to offer, now is the time to reach out! We anticipate the final two being ready early 2027.

When it comes to selling your home, there’s three variables that come into play and there’s only one of them you can’t change. That’s location.

When it comes to getting the price you want, condition matters. Those houses that moving quickly realize this. If your location is great and your house isn’t moving at its current price, it’s probably time to look at the condition.

The prep work for every home looks different and that’s why it’s so important to bring your Realtor in early. For some, a deep clean and a little touch up paint is all it takes. For many, it’s more than that.

A busy, but wonderful weekend 💐 It started with Morgan Wallen in Indy….followed with an exhausting drive back and an obscene amount of construction. We were up bright and early for Leighton’s last lacrosse tournament of her middle school career. The end of an era, some might say. We celebrated a first communion and Mother’s Day to round out the weekend.

To all the mother’s of all kinds, Happy Mother’s Day! I hope you felt celebrated and loved today!
