A New Chapter for Affordable Homeownership on Columbus’ East Side!🎉

Yesterday, we celebrated the groundbreaking of The Flats on Broad & Gould — transforming a long-vacant site located at the corner of East Broad Street and South Gould Road into 23 permanently affordable condominiums for income-qualified homebuyers.

These two and three-bedroom homes, with a target price of $200,000, will give individuals and families the opportunity to build equity, achieve homeownership, and put down roots in the community in which they live work and play.

Big milestones like this take strong partnerships. We’re grateful to Mayor Ginther and the City of Columbus, the Franklin County Board of Commissioners, Ohio Community Development Finance Fund, Ohio Capital Finance Corporation, and the many community partners and supporters who helped make this vision possible.

A SPECIAL THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for this momentous occasion, including Ben Kessler, Mayor of the City of Bexley and Chief Ruchelle Pride for their continued partnership and commitment to building stronger, more inclusive communities across Central Ohio.

Happy Friday!

We're back with another opportunity for potential homebuyers! The Land Trust is happy to announce we'll be holding our homebuyer selection drawing for 15 homes in the following areas on September 10th:

Columbus’ Far South Side (10)
Linden- NE Columbus (5)

Potential homebuyers will be entered in the drawing for one of 15 newly-built homes. Priced from $200,000.

In order to participate in the homebuyer selection drawing, potential homeowners must attend or have attended a Homebuyer Orientation and fill out a questionnaire by Friday, September 4th by 5:00 PM.

Congratulations to our friends at the African American Male Wellness Agency on another successful Black Men’s Wellness Day! 🎉

Our team was out in full force, enjoying a great day of wellness, connection, and community. It was wonderful catching up with friends and neighbors while sharing information about the community land trust model and the benefits of homeownership.

COCIC/ COCLT is proud to support the African American Male Wellness Agency Black Men's Wellness Day this Saturday, August 8th.

We're especially excited that this year's event will take place in the King-Lincoln Bronzeville neighborhood—the heart of the community that is our soon the be new home.

This event is open to everyone and offers valuable health screenings, wellness resources, fitness activities, and community connections.
