It was a packed room at the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) Annual State of the Region Luncheon—and a powerful conversation about the growth shaping our future. COCIC/ COCLT was proud to be a sponsor of such an impactful event!

Key themes that stood out:

• Affordable housing demand is reaching a critical point and is a key driver in economic development.
• High speed rail and transit investment are essential to connectivity and access.
• Attracting and retaining young professionals is key to long-term economic strength.
• AI isn’t just coming, it’s here.

Thank you to MORPC for hosting such an impactful event, and a BIG congratulations to this year’s award winners for their leadership and lasting impact across our region!

COCIC is honored to be a sponsor of the 41st Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday Breakfast: The Journey Ahead, Advancing Liberty and Justice for All in Columbus, Ohio.

We were deeply inspired by the keynote address from Reverend Dr. Otis Moss III, Pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ, who spoke powerfully about paving the way for others, honoring the legacy of those who came before us, and our responsibility to invest in the well-being of our communities.

Dr. King once said, “Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.” This truth underscores the importance of economic inclusion and equitable access to housing—because when families and communities thrive, we all benefit.

COCIC is proud to support efforts that reflect Dr. King’s vision of justice, dignity, and opportunity for all.

Happy Birthday Dr. King!! 🎉🎉
