What an incredible weekend of baseball! ⚾

This weekend, I had the privilege of honoring a truly remarkable man, Jim Marshall, by hosting the Jim Marshall Inspirational Wood Bat Tournament during the Yep Kanum Celebration!

Jim is a proud veteran, a retired teacher, and a longtime coach who has dedicated so much of his life to investing in the youth of our community. His leadership, humility, and commitment to Colville have impacted countless young athletes and families over the years. It was an honor to recognize him and celebrate the legacy he continues to leave.

We welcomed 14 teams between the 10U and 12U divisions from both the United States and Canada for an amazing weekend of baseball. The competition was outstanding, but even more impressive was the sportsmanship, friendships, and memories that were made on and off the field.

A huge thank you to every player, coach, family, volunteer, sponsor, and community member who helped make this tournament such a success. Events like this don’t happen without an incredible team of people working behind the scenes.

Jim, thank you for your service to our country and your unwavering commitment to the game of baseball and our youth. Your influence has shaped generations, and we are grateful for everything you’ve done for Colville.

Here’s to another great year of baseball and to honoring those who have paved the way for the next generation!

🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸

Today we’re thankful for the freedoms we enjoy, for the brave men and women who have sacrificed to protect them, and most of all for God’s faithfulness and abundant blessings on our nation.

As we gather with family and friends, watch fireworks, and celebrate our independence, may we also remember the freedom and hope we have through Christ. We pray for God’s continued guidance, protection, and blessing over our country, our community, and your family.

From our family to yours, we wish you a safe, joyful, and blessed Fourth of July!

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” Psalm 33:12

🇺🇸 God Bless America! ❤️🤍💙
