⚡ NO POWER ANYWHERE? 😂

Brighton had no power yesterday, so we headed to Downtown Milford for an afternoon bite at Smoke Street BBQ. 🍖🍽️

We ate, enjoyed our meal, paid the bill… and THEN Milford lost power too! 😳⚡

At least the timing worked in our favor. 😂 We were already finished and ready to go!

Just another interesting afternoon in Southeast Michigan. 🤣

DON’T TAKE THE CURTAINS! 🪟😳

Sellers, before you pack up and move out… make sure you know what stays with the home.

I recently had TWO closings where I represented the buyers, and the sellers took the curtains/window treatments with them. And yep—it became a whole thing. 😬

In Michigan, window treatments are commonly included with the home unless they’re specifically excluded in the purchase agreement. So if you plan on taking them, make sure that’s clearly addressed ahead of time.

One seller ended up paying 💰 and another had to bring the curtains back.

Moral of the story: Don’t pack first and ask questions later. 📦🪟

A little taste of Detroit history at the Detroit Athletic Club! My friends showed me around, then treated me to drinks and apps at the restaurant. Such a beautiful place with so much history—including a connection to Henry Ford. Great food, great company, and such a fun Detroit experience!

Thursday nights in Downtown Brighton just hit different! 🎶

Dinner at The Pound, then we heard the music coming from the Mill Pond and had to check it out. Theo Gridiron & Friends had us moving, laughing, and working off everything we just ate. 😂💃

One of the guys said, “Thanks for saving me from doing dishes tonight!” 😂

Me? I’m just happy to be out doing something fun on a Thursday night with good friends, good music, and that Downtown Brighton vibe.

Sometimes the unplanned nights are the best ones. ❤️
