The river is open and GREAT!

The flooding got worse before it got better. The Frio over topped the bridge at 127 and water flow hit 41,000 cubic feet per second with a gage height was just under 20 feet. (Normally gauge height is 3.5 feet.)

I have been in communication with my management company and the water has gotten nowhere near Rusty Rio. In a few days, all should be good and the river will be good for tubing.

Rusty Rio is high and dry.

There was very heavy rain in Concan yesterday and today (July 15,16). The river is very high, but Rusty Rio is way above that and is not threatened. The water and power are on. Low places on roads and bridges are underwater for a day or two.

Once this passes, the tubing will be great! 3 or 4 days should do the trick.

Concan and the Frio River are getting some good rain. Nearly 9 inches in the last 30 days!

The river will be very nice in later in the week. The water flow is near 50 cubic feet per second. That is some nice tubing.
