The Charlotte area continues to move toward a more balanced housing market, and the suburban communities around the city are giving buyers more options to consider.

The latest Canopy MLS data shows 13,082 homes for sale across the 16 county Charlotte region in June, up 5.6% from a year earlier. The median sales price was $416,893, up 0.5%, while homes spent an average of 47 days on the market. Sellers received an average of 96.3% of their original list price.

For buyers considering Concord, Huntersville, Mooresville, or Davidson, the broader trend is important. Inventory is improving, but conditions can vary significantly from one community and price range to another. Concord and Huntersville have continued to attract strong buyer attention, while the lake communities around Mooresville and Davidson offer a different mix of homes, lifestyles, and pricing.
