Fall in New England provides a natural backdrop for pause and reflection. I am grateful to feel settled in this place. Real estate photos usually look so pretty, but swipe through for the reality. Homes are a messy and complicated business- particularly during a pandemic which has required taking extra precautions around showings, inspections, moving, finances, and just trying to smile with our eyes. We work through extra layers of stress and pressure since COViD-19 has heightened anxiety around safety, health, income and education in ways that make even more central to our lives.
Even in the best of times, selling and buying one of your largest lifetime assets is like running a marathon. It requires good preparation, coaching, focus, and tenacity. Proud to have sprinted these special homes(and AWESOME families) over the finish line this July and have more running strong, ready for a successful close.
Btw, this is me after spilling coffee on my white pants and plunging a toilet at a final walkthrough.
