🚨 Home Buyer PSA 🚨
Most people have no idea how this works...
When you click “Tour This Home” or “Contact Agent” on Zillow or many other real estate websites, you’re often not being connected directly to the listing agent.😳
Instead, your information may be routed to an agent who is paying for buyer leads. That agent may be fantastic, but they may have never seen the property, spoken with the seller, or know any more about the home than what’s available online.
I know this because I have this conversation with buyers all the time.
Many consumers assume they’re reaching the listing agent, the person who knows the property best and can answer detailed questions about the home. That’s often not the case.
Now, if that’s how you prefer to find an agent, that’s completely okay. No judgment here. I simply believe buyers deserve to understand what’s happening behind the scenes so they can make informed decisions.
Here’s my advice:
📱 Bother your Realtor.
Seriously.
Send the screenshot.
Text the address.
Forward the Zillow link.
Ask the questions.
That’s literally what we’re here for.🙋♀️
Too many buyers hesitate because they think they’re wasting their agent’s time, especially if they’re months away from buying. Trust me - you aren’t.
The home search process is confusing enough without unknowingly clicking your way into five different lead systems.
