📣 New Law Alert: As of July 1, 2025, every single-family property in New Hampshire is now allowed to have an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU)—either attached OR detached—by right. Translation? No more hoops to jump through.
💡 Think rental income, multigenerational living, or simply creating more space—your land, your way (within reason 😉).
✨ A few key facts:
→ Detached ADUs now fully legal statewide
→ No interior door or shared space required
→ Towns can’t block you—only apply basic zoning standards
→ Units must be 750–950 sq ft (or more if your town allows)
