DRYWALL PRO NEEDED – ATRIUM CEILING

Concord, NC

Looking for an experienced drywall finisher for a small job with a BIG working height — 25’+ atrium ceiling.

Scope:
• Remove approximately 2 sheets of existing drywall
• Install new drywall and finish the repaired area
• Paint approximately a 20’ x 20’ ceiling area, color match
• Labor only — we supply all materials
• Scaffolding will be supplied, installed and removed by us

Looking to start Wednesday this week.

Must be insured as a company OR willing to work hourly as 1099 labor under our insurance.

This isn’t a huge job, but because of the height, we need someone comfortable working from scaffolding and who knows how to finish drywall right.

A small bounty is officially being offered in Concord. 😂

Max has informed me that, in his old age, he no longer climbs to these kinds of heights. Bernie has reviewed the situation and is firmly committed to keeping all four paws planted safely on the ground.

That leaves me. And these darn lights. 😂

We have one simple strand of lights that needs to come down from the higher peak of this house near Cox Mill High School in Concord. That’s it. Get up there, get them down, collect your bounty, and become a friend of Max & Bernie’s for life.

We’d love to get this knocked out today if someone has the right ladder/equipment and is comfortable working at that height.

Max & Bernie’s is looking for the right person to join us.

I’m looking for a reliable, mechanically inclined jack-of-all-trades type who enjoys working with their hands and wants consistent work.

You don’t need to know everything—I’m happy to teach. What I need is someone who shows up, works hard, wants to learn, and takes pride in what we build together.

Our days vary: carpentry, drywall, painting, repairs, renovations, troubleshooting and plenty of figuring things out as we go.

Typically 5 days a week, paid 1099. Charlotte and surrounding areas.

Experience is great, but reliability, character and attitude matter more. I’m looking for someone who fits the Max & Bernie’s mindset: treat people well, do what we say we’ll do, and leave things better than we found them.

* Repair or replace a leaking roof vent pipe boot, 2 floor property.
* Inspect surrounding roofing to ensure the leak is fully resolved

Timing:
We’re in a great stretch of dry weather, so this work can be completed tomorrow or anytime this week.

As we celebrate Independence Day, we’re also celebrating an incredible milestone—America’s 250th birthday.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave everything for our freedom. 🇺🇸

We are deeply grateful for their sacrifice and for the families who continue to carry that legacy every day.

As we spend time with family, friends, and community today, may we also take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of the holiday.
