Got you. Keep it simple and contractor-friendly. The wall is roughly **32' long**, based on the project dimensions we've been working with, so I’d say “approximately 32 feet” rather than over-specifying it.

**Foundation / Masonry Contractor Needed – Kings Mountain, NC**

Max & Bernie’s Property Solutions is looking for an experienced and insured foundation/masonry contractor for a project in Kings Mountain.

Scope is fairly straightforward: **remove and replace approximately 32' of the rear CMU foundation/crawlspace wall**, including a new continuous concrete footing and block wall tied back into the existing foundation.

**Must be insured.**

If interested, please email:
[email protected] with your name/company, phone number, experience, and availability. We can provide additional project details and schedule a time to look at the job.

He’s in the small stuff.

Two different days. Two different shoes. Two nails.

And somehow, not a drop of blood on either one.

It would be easy to call it luck or coincidence. I choose to see it a little differently.

Sometimes God’s protection doesn’t come with a big announcement. Sometimes it’s simply a nail that stops just short of where it could have.

He’s in the big stuff, absolutely. But I’m reminded that He’s in the small stuff too—if we slow down enough to look and listen.

Grateful for the reminder. And apparently, I need to start watching where I step. 😂

🏡 MAX & BERNIE’S IS LOOKING FOR OUR NEXT PROJECT! 🔨🐾

We’re looking for a property within about 30 minutes of Concord, NC that needs some love—and we’re open to getting creative with the right owner and the right situation.

Maybe you have a house that needs updating before you sell it.

Maybe it’s a rental that has gotten away from you.

Maybe you inherited a property that needs work.

Or maybe you have a vacant or underused property and would be interested in an arrangement where we stay in the property while improving it, with our renovation work being part of the overall agreement.

We’re flexible.

We can pay rent. We can do the work. We can invest in the improvements. And for the right property, we may even be interested in purchasing it.

The goal is simple: find a situation that can be advantageous for both sides.

We’re especially interested in something with some land, a little privacy, or a property that others might overlook because it needs work. Ugly doesn’t scare us. Neither does outdated. That’s kind of what we do. 😂

If you own something—or know somebody who does—send me a message.

Sometimes the best real estate deals aren’t sitting on Zillow. They’re sitting empty, half-finished, inherited, or waiting for someone to figure out what to do with them.

DRYWALL PRO NEEDED – ATRIUM CEILING

Concord, NC

Looking for an experienced drywall finisher for a small job with a BIG working height — 25’+ atrium ceiling.

Scope:
• Remove approximately 2 sheets of existing drywall
• Install new drywall and finish the repaired area
• Paint approximately a 20’ x 20’ ceiling area, color match
• Labor only — we supply all materials
• Scaffolding will be supplied, installed and removed by us

Looking to start Wednesday this week.

Must be insured as a company OR willing to work hourly as 1099 labor under our insurance.

This isn’t a huge job, but because of the height, we need someone comfortable working from scaffolding and who knows how to finish drywall right.

Interested? Send us your labor proposal, availability, and a little about your experience.

A small bounty is officially being offered in Concord. 😂

Max has informed me that, in his old age, he no longer climbs to these kinds of heights. Bernie has reviewed the situation and is firmly committed to keeping all four paws planted safely on the ground.

That leaves me. And these darn lights. 😂

We have one simple strand of lights that needs to come down from the higher peak of this house near Cox Mill High School in Concord. That’s it. Get up there, get them down, collect your bounty, and become a friend of Max & Bernie’s for life.

We’d love to get this knocked out today if someone has the right ladder/equipment and is comfortable working at that height.

💰 Yes, we’ll pay you for your trouble.

If you’re interested, shoot me a text at 704-897-7000.

Max & Bernie’s is looking for the right person to join us.

I’m looking for a reliable, mechanically inclined jack-of-all-trades type who enjoys working with their hands and wants consistent work.

You don’t need to know everything—I’m happy to teach. What I need is someone who shows up, works hard, wants to learn, and takes pride in what we build together.

Our days vary: carpentry, drywall, painting, repairs, renovations, troubleshooting and plenty of figuring things out as we go.

Typically 5 days a week, paid 1099. Charlotte and surrounding areas.

Experience is great, but reliability, character and attitude matter more. I’m looking for someone who fits the Max & Bernie’s mindset: treat people well, do what we say we’ll do, and leave things better than we found them.

Interested? Send me a message.

🇺🇸 250 Years of Freedom. One Nation. Countless Stories. ⚽🇺🇸

As we celebrate Independence Day, we’re also celebrating an incredible milestone—America’s 250th birthday.

Two hundred and fifty years ago, people from different countries, backgrounds, beliefs, and trades came together around a bold idea: that freedom, opportunity, and self-governance were worth building together. They didn’t agree on everything, but they shared a vision that became the foundation of the United States.

Today, that same spirit still matters.

Strong communities are built when neighbors know one another, lend a helping hand, respect different perspectives, and take pride in the places they call home. Great nations are built one family, one neighborhood, and one act of service at a time.

This Fourth of July is made even more exciting as the FIFA World Cup reminds us that the world can come together through competition, sportsmanship, and a shared love of the game. Different flags. Different languages. One field. It’s a powerful reminder that our differences don’t have to divide us—they can make us stronger.

At Max & Bernie’s Property Solutions, that’s what we believe every day. Whether we’re restoring a home, helping a neighbor with repairs, or revitalizing a property, our mission is simple: leave every place better than we found it. Because stronger homes create stronger neighborhoods, and stronger neighborhoods create stronger communities.

Today we honor those who sacrificed for our freedom, celebrate the opportunities we enjoy, and look forward with hope to the next 250 years.

From our family—Max 🐈‍⬛ and Bernie 🐶—to yours…

Happy Independence Day! God Bless America! 🇺🇸
