Today we celebrate Texas Independence Day 🤠✨

On March 2, 1836, the Republic of Texas was declared independent — and let’s just say… Texans have been boldly doing things our own way ever since.

From the leadership of Sam Houston to the victory at San Jacinto (hello, San Jacinto Monument 👏), our history is rooted in courage, grit, and big vision.

And honestly? That same Texas spirit shows up every single day in our communities — in our small businesses, our families, and yes… even at the closing table. 🏡🔑

This month, we honor the fighters, celebrate the survivors, and remember the beautiful souls we’ve lost. Breast cancer has touched so many lives — our friends, our family, our colleagues — reminding us of the power of early detection, community, and hope.

Let’s take this month to wear pink proudly, schedule our screenings, and lift one another up. Whether it’s through a kind word, a small donation, or simply reminding someone to take care of themselves — every action matters.

To all the warriors still fighting: you are brave beyond measure.
To the survivors: your strength inspires us all.

a day that forever changed our nation. 🇺🇸

We honor the lives lost, the heroes who rushed in without hesitation, and the families whose strength continues to inspire us. Out of the darkness of that day, our country showed resilience, unity, and courage that can never be forgotten.

May we never take for granted the freedoms we share, and may we always stand together as one nation under God. ❤️🤍💙
