On Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 7:00 AM–6:00 PM, Converse residents may hold a yard sale at their home without a City permit for this one day only.

Please remember: while no permit is required for this event, all other City rules still apply, including signage, parking, and public safety requirements.

What: City-Wide Yard Sale Day
When: Saturday, April 25, 2026, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM
Where: At participating residences across Converse
Cost: No permit required for this one-day event
Parking/Accessibility/Pets: Please park legally, keep sidewalks and driveways clear, and use extra caution while visiting neighborhood sales.

Mark your calendars, pet parents. Converse Animal Care is hosting a FREE Rabies Vaccination Clinic on Sunday, May 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Converse North Park, 8200 Spring Town Street

Help keep your furry family members safe, healthy, and ready for all the tail wags, zoomies, and cuddle time ahead. This clinic is for Converse residents only, so bring your dog or cat and take advantage of this great community event.

A big thank you to Boehringer Ingelheim for helping make this event possible.

Bring the whole family out for an Egg-cellent Easter Egg Hunt with the City of Converse Parks and Recreation Board!

Enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with over 8,000 eggs, story time, crafts, and photos with the Easter Bunny. And the fun does not stop there—after the egg hunt, stay for Movie in the Park featuring Despicable Me 4 at 8:30 PM. The movie is sponsored by Lars Nielsen with State Farm.

We will be holding a training exercise on Wednesday, Feb. 25, at JBSA-Randolph.

Residents on and near the installation may see smoke and hear emergency response sirens. This will be a controlled training exercise.
