🏡 CLOSED — And This One Was Worth the Wait! 🔑❤️
Some closings are smooth sailing…and some make you work a little harder to get everyone across the finish line. **This was definitely the second kind!** 😅
My buyers purchased this home **sight unseen from New York**, trusting me to be their eyes and ears here in South Carolina. That’s a big leap of faith! I walked them through the home by video, showing them the details as if they were right there beside me. When they finally saw it in person, hearing them say they **absolutely loved it**—and that the video made them feel like they had already been there—meant everything. ❤️
Then came the unexpected part: their New York closing was delayed for **two weeks**, which meant their South Carolina closing had to wait too.
They were here, living in their RV at a campground, with their furniture waiting on the movers. So we kept working. We were able to arrange **early occupancy** so they could move into their new home instead of paying for another week at the campground. 🙌
And behind the scenes? We stayed on it. I communicated with their agent in New York, spoke directly with their New York attorney multiple times along with our attorneys Cooper Law and we did everything within our control to help keep things moving toward the finish line.
And today, we can finally say…CLOSED! 🎉🔑🏡
Now the movers can deliver the furniture, the RV can finally take a break, and my buyers can start turning this house into **home.** ❤️
This is why, for me, real estate has never been just about showing houses and writing contracts. Sometimes it’s about making the calls, solving the problems, staying involved when things get complicated, and being there until the keys are officially yours.
