HOMEOWNER PSA: If you are a homeowner and you get an official looking notice aggressively notifying you that you are in danger of losing your home warranty, know its total trash. No mortgage company will require you to have a home warranty. They are good and useful but not mandatory. These notices are meant to confuse and deceive you into calling to buy something that is completely optional. This is not homeowners insurance, which is required with a mortgage. There are legit local home warranty providers, but this one doesn’t even have the name of the company on the notice. Throw it in the trash. Call your trusted Realtor to give you some good reputable HW providers.
