Breakfast, branding & a whole lot of conversation. ☕️🥑

I joined Lisa Smith Jones at one of her favorite Conway spots, BMB Creations Bakery, and I can confirm — she knows where to get breakfast. 😂

Avocado toast, coffee, and what was supposed to be a quick breakfast turned into an hour of talking about marketing, branding, real estate, and all the ideas we want to bring to life.

And honestly? Those are some of my favorite meetings.

🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day!

Today might mean a long weekend, one last summer cookout, or a day away from the office — but Labor Day has a much bigger story behind it.

The holiday grew out of the American labor movement in the late 1800s, when many workers faced 12-hour days, seven-day workweeks, low wages, and dangerous working conditions. Workers began organizing and pushing for safer workplaces, reasonable hours, and better treatment.

On September 5, 1882, thousands of workers gathered in New York City for what is widely recognized as the first Labor Day parade, taking unpaid time off to march together in support of workers' rights.

The movement continued to grow, and in 1894, President Grover Cleveland signed legislation making Labor Day a federal holiday — officially setting aside the first Monday in September to honor the contributions and achievements of American workers.

And those contributions are everywhere.

They’re in the homes we live in, the roads we drive, the businesses that serve our communities, the schools that educate our children, the farms that feed us, and the countless people who get up every day and simply do the work.

So today, we celebrate more than a three-day weekend.

We celebrate the American worker. 🇺🇸
