It's not every day that you have back-to-back closings and the respective buyers happen to be former college roommates with each other at St. John's University! They passed by each other at the title office just like they used to pass by each other on campus. Of course, they also had the dubious distinction of being in my high school English class 👨‍🏫📕✍️ over a decade ago.

Congrats to both of these first-time homebuyers on their recent purchases! 🔑🏠🤩. It was truly a pleasure to reconnect with both of these two and work with them throughout their homebuying journey. There is nothing that brings a former teacher/coach greater joy than seeing former students thrive in the real world. These two are doing phenomenal and are now officially building equity as young homeowners!

I don't think this scenario was on any of our Bingo cards when these two were sitting in my classroom years ago. Let this be a subtle reminder that life moves fast, is often unpredictable, and relationships matter.

On a side note, one of these buyers was impressively able to recall specific details from Into the Wild, one of the books that was a part of my teaching curriculum. That might be worthy of some retroactive extra credit! 😂🤔

Congrats to these two on their recent home purchase in Edina! 🔑🏠🤩. They landed a great home in an incredible neighborhood and I can't wait to watch them make it their own over time! One of my subtle realizations over my time in the industry is that the properties that I help my clients purchase are more than just properties...they become homes and places where holidays are spent, memories are made, and often times families are raised. Observing these houses transform into such meaningful places for my clients makes it all worth it. It will be especially gratifying on this one as I'll have the opportunity to watch my sweet twin nieces grow up in and enjoy this particular home for years to come!

Excited for my buyer as her closing date approaches on this beautiful home in Linden Hills! 🔑🏠🤩. We had our initial buyer consultation back in August of 2024 when my client shared her specific goal of selling her home in Iowa and purchasing a home within walking distance of her two young grandchildren in Linden Hills.
