The ideal candidates will be reliable customer service specialists, with prior property management experience, but we will provide training for the right person. In addition to assisting with the day-to-day operations of each property, the leasing coordinator and maintenance coordinator will assist with lease contracts, enforcing rental agreements, assist with maintenance, and attend staff meetings. Objectives of these roles:
• Maintain positive and professional relationships with property owners, contractors, occupants, executing proactive oversight, maintenance, and problem prevention.
• Work with accounting, leasing, maintenance, and various other professionals in effectively resolving tenant issues, disputes, and contracts.
• Understand and maintain property systems by assisting contracting for repairs.
• Provide timely and effective service.
Job Responsibilities:
• Receive all telephone calls and in-person visits. Listen to tenant requests, concerns and comments.
• Immediately record all telephone and in-person visits in Appfolio.
• Assist in monitoring advertising effectiveness.
• Maintain and distribute all company-issued notices.
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all the times.
• Understand the lease and contracted credit report application.
• Ensure that all proper and legal documents are received, current, accurately verified and entered into the computer from new vendors, prior to payment being processed.
• Communicate with Property Managers regarding accuracy of invoices received; that invoices are presented correctly, according to company procedures.
• Assist in lease transactions by drafting leases, gathering applicant’s history and credit approvals.
• Maintain accurate monthly lease renewals and delinquencies.
• Provide general clerical assistance to rental office.
• Quickly complete maintenance Service Request and inform the maintenance team. Answer questions for residents about property, repairs, rent, rules, etc. Follow up on a timely basis if unable to respond to residents on all matters.
• Ensure all maintenance repairs are handled satisfactorily by contacting residents with completed Service Requests on a weekly basis.
• Maintain open communication with Property Managers and Staff Members.

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Position prefers a minimum of one year experience in customer service related industry.
• Competence in operation of telephone, calculator, copy machine, facsimile, Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
• Neat, clean, professional at all times throughout the workday.
