Fairchild Partners was the proud winner of the Belen Jesuit Fishing Tournament, a fundraising event for academic scholarships. With over 80 boats and 350 anglers participating, the tournament brought together an incredible community. Several alumni were part of the winning crew, among them Sebastian Juncadella, Class of ‘08, who won top angler with the heaviest fish. Fairchild has been a supporter and sponsor of this event since its inception. The tournament is named after Father Sardiñas, beloved teacher, mentor, and spiritual director for Sebastian and Diego Juncadella. We congratulate our hard-working crew for a great effort and unforgettable adventure for the great cause of providing scholarships for talented students! 🎣🐟

Mike brings a keen expertise in the client-focused approach to brokerage, a proficiency acquired from years the healthcare profession, specifically physiotherapy. Fairchild Partners is pleased to announce the long-term lease of 1500 NW 95th Ave, Doral. The Fairchild Team of Jonathan Lay, Sebastian, and Jose Juncadella represented the Landlord (Brookfield Properties) while Sky Groden (JLL) represented the tenant. The 10+ year lease involved months of negotiation but resulted in a great ‘win-win’ for all parties involved. This lease is also a great example of a successful transaction where experienced SIOR brokers were on both sides of the table. We are grateful to our client, Brookfield, for the trust in handling the asset and to Sky and his client for a collaborative and transparent approach to the entire process.

Today, Fairchild honors with sincere admiration and appreciation our colleague, Mike Silver, who, after 45 + years, is retiring from commercial real estate as First Vice President of CBRE. In addition to his brokerage expertise spanning decades and multiple real estate cycles, Mike is recognized as a selfless colleague. Jose met Mike in the 1980’s, and together they have completed dozens of deals. Mike and Jose share a passion for leadership and mentorship of the next generation. A fellow SIOR designee, Mike has been active in national as well as local associations and networking groups such as CIASF (formerly IADC), NAIOP South Florida, Miami Association of Realtors, and Miami Commercial. Unforgettable events to showcase properties included the incomparable Mike dressed in a full magician costume, predicting the future of real estate or guiding broker tour buses around town, highlighting Miami’s transformation over the last half-century. When Mike took the microphone, everyone listened, expecting his signature wit, knowledge, and humor added to the serious data...Congratulations on an exemplary career! The Fairchild team wishes Mike a wonderful retirement in the company of his family, making memories with his precious grandchildren.
