Looks like Genting will be departing from the old Miami Herald Land. Anyone want to take guess what will happen there?

My first guess is that Related Group (who already tried to acquire it in the past) will make another attempt to acquire that piece of property because their project with B&B Italia, Casa Bella's view depends on it. Although they did slant the building so that the balconies are overlooking the Museum Park.

From my perspective, most of the new projects in Edgewater are luxury condos. Some cater to residential real estate while others cater to investors who want to set up an AIRBNB or VRBO business.

One thing is certain, Miami continues to grow and there is speculation that we are poised to become the #2 Luxury Market in the World by 2023. I am prepared to educate you on the various upcoming projects available pre-construction right now, reach out to me and let's do this!

The sale may break the record for Miami parcels, at least in gross terms.

Here is a video of the Magic City Innovation District set to be constructed in Little Haiti as a revitalization project. I am not sure what the status of this project is because the last article I found online was published in August 2021. That article stated that the new district will yield residential, hotel, office, retail and expo space across 18-acres. The project plans include 1,599 residential units, 941,800 square feet of office space, 432 hotel units and over 200,000 square feet of retail space. This project is generally centered around the proposed Little Haiti Station along Brightline train tracks. No construction permits had been pulled as of August 2021. Boom! Sadly, this is the unfortunate conclusion of the drama at the Deauville. In it's hey days this hotel hosted many famous people, including The Beatles. I am looking for some historic photos so we can at least keep a record of what it once was. I hope that whatever replaces this building somehow honors its history.

After years of neglect and disrepair, the Deauville Beach Resort will be demolished, the city of Miami Beach declared this week.
