NAPLES, Fla. — More than three years after Hurricane Ian tore through Southwest Florida and left one of Naples’ most cherished landmarks in ruins, the rebuilding of the Naples Pier is officially moving forward.

The City of Naples has been awarded an $11.4 million grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency to fund the reconstruction of the historic pier. The obligation of funds was announced in mid-December 2025, clearing a major hurdle that had delayed progress and allowing the long-anticipated project to advance.
