Some journeys lead you somewhere you never expected.

Marisa Salas never planned to build a national home staging company.

Her journey took her from growing up in a three-generation jewelry business, to running her own store at 21, to moving to New York, raising two children, and eventually finding her way into home staging in 2008.

What started as a Showhomes franchise grew through years of hard work, relationships, new opportunities, and a willingness to keep moving into unfamiliar territory. In 2023, that journey opened another chapter when Marisa and her husband decided to acquire the Showhomes franchise system and help other stagers grow their businesses across the country.

Looking back, Marisa sees each chapter as preparation for the next one. Her story is a reminder that the path we start with may not be the path we ultimately follow, and sometimes the biggest opportunities come from being willing to step outside what we already know.
