I’m a sappy girl. But this might be the sappiest post I’ll put you through.
8 years ago, I got a message from a fellow Army spouse that was coming to the South Florida area from North Carolina.
We clicked instantly, and I knew about a home around the corner from my house that might be a good option for their family- and they moved in.
Over these past 8 years we have lived our lives together, late night golf cart rides singing ridiculous music for the whole neighborhood to hear, all major holidays were somehow intertwined, our kids became close as cousins, countless sweet treat deliveries, seafood boils, Easter Egg hunts, and we were family. They love my kids hard, and their kids became ours.
I’m so wildly proud of these two, their individual accomplishments, their resilience as a couple and family, and their commitment to being the best dang people that they can be has left an impression on so many people in our community.
And while my head is so happy for their next move, grateful for how awesome is was to be their Realtor and help make this incredible investment they made here pay off in an amazing way- my selfish heart is aching so bad because it’s a new chapter without these two being down the sidewalk.
I can’t believe how lucky I was to be able to get these two to be my clients, but I tell you what- I won the lottery when I got to have them as my neighbors and my friends.
Love you, Mandy & Steve! Congratulations on this amazing next season, so insanely happy for you guys!!
