If your art is floating randomly on a big blank wall—it's not the art's fault.

The rule: Art should relate to the furniture below it. Ideally, the bottom of the frame sits 3-8 inches above the piece it's anchored to (sofa, console, bed).

Why it matters:
✅ Creates visual connection between furniture and walls
✅ Makes the room feel cohesive instead of scattered
✅ Grounds the art so it doesn't look like it's floating awkwardly

If you can't follow the 3-foot rule (like in a hallway), use the 57-inch center rule instead: center of the art at 57 inches from the floor.
