Let's bust this myth. A seller does NOT HAVE to fix everything that's wrong with a property. In fact, the seller can choose not to fix anything and the buyer is left deciding whether to continue with the transaction or move on. It is at the seller's discretion whether they fix the issues that arise during an inspection or give a credit for the issue.

If a seller state they are selling a property as-is, they typically have no intention of fixing anything hence the term "as-is". However, it is not impossible to come across a seller that is reasonable and willing to fix the issues that are linked to functionality.

I take pride in getting families into the home of their dreams and this was no different.

Story time:
Lennar totally screwed over this buyer. I received a call, a week before she was suppose to close, with unfortunate news due to changes on Lennar's behalf. She had a little over a month to close on another home. Long story short I came in and saved the day. Found her another home. Got her under contact 3 days after the deal fell through with Lennar and we are on our way to the closing table. Paying under list price. The countdown is onπŸ™ŒπŸΎ
