Did you know you can still use a Realtor even if you are buying a home For Sale by Owner???

In a market that lacks inventory looking at FSBO homes allows Buyers to see more options ... my clients found this charming and incredibly cared for east side home the day it was listed and I think I fell in love with it as much as they did 😅😍 so I contacted the Seller on their behalf and we were under contract by the end of the weekend!

It was my job to make sure all disclosures were properly made, all paperwork was done correctly, and all agreements were put in writing to protect everyone in the transaction. Without a Realtor assisting the Sellers it was my job to make sure things stayed on track for both parties. I worked closely with not only my Buyers but also the Sellers to ensure everything was done on time and according to contract. Having a professional represent you when buying a home is CRUCIAL to insuring everything is done correctly, but this is even more important when there’s not someone on the other side doing the same for the sellers.

At the end of the day, when buying and/or selling a home all parties have the same goal… to get the closing table 🔑🍾 so whether it’s working with another agent or working with the Sellers themselves it is my job to make sure everything regarding a transaction is taken care of so my clients can focus on planning their move instead worrying if the transaction is being done right.

So excited for these sweet friends of mine who closed on their first house last month!

This past spring we spent several days looking at everything available in the Iowa City & Cedar Rapids markets. As soon as they walked into this east side charmer it became their top choice and a few days later we were writing up the offer. Not only did they end up getting this home at UNDER asking price, but through the negotiation of remedies after inspections they were also able to get closing costs covered by the sellers💃

It always means so much to me when people trust me to help them make the biggest financial investment of their lives, but it is extra special when I get the opportunity to help such close friends ☺️ they got straight to work making this house a home and I am so excited for them to grow their family here in the years to come 💗
