Some trips stay with you forever.

A few years ago, I took my daughter to Sicily for her senior trip and we made a point to visit Alia, the town my ancestors came from. Standing in the same basilica they once stood in was one of those moments that is hard to put into words.

We explored the town, met locals, and somehow even found a distant cousin who was very excited to celebrate the discovery with us.

Getting to experience that piece of our family history together made the trip incredibly special.

One of the best compliments in real estate is when another agent trusts you enough to call for help.

Sometimes a listing is difficult because of the market. Sometimes it’s the layout, condition, finishes, or marketing. There are a lot of factors that can make a property harder to sell.

Instead of simply taking the listing over, I told her I’d rather work together. She’s already put in the work, and sometimes a fresh perspective and a little collaboration are exactly what’s needed.

Definitely my compliment of the week.

One of my favorite parts of showing homes is helping clients see what a space could become.

Sometimes they walk in and instantly know how they’d make it their own. Other times, it takes a little conversation, a few ideas, and a different perspective to help them picture the possibilities.

That’s part of the fun for me. And yes, I’ll always appreciate some good design.
