Take a look at my garlic harvest! It will be hung to dry for a few weeks, then processed and ready for sale. I planted 3,000 cloves last fall. My garlic is all natural, no chemical fertilizers, but rich compost, which makes the best nutrient dense superfood!! Want to build your immunity against viruses? Buy some of my garlic.

This is a picture of a gas line coming into the home. The yellow pipe is called CSST gas line. It is used extensively, replacing Iron and copper pipe. One of the problems with this pipe is that it can split in the event of a nearby lightening strike, then leak gas into the home. To remedy that problem, it is required that all CSST gas line be bonded back to the main panel, or grounding rod. This one, pictured, is not grounded and will be noted in the home inspection report as a safety issue. A leaking gas line in your home is a very dangerous situation.

This older home was built at a time when galvanized pipes were used for domestic water supply. This pipe is very strong and lasts a long time, but, as anything else, eventually comes to the end of it's useful life span. It may look good from the outside, but the problem is on the inside. The pipe corrodes on the inside which eventually will show up as a blister, as can be seen in the second photo. Also, galvanized pipe will reduce the flow of water as the interior of the pipe closes off due to the corrosion and mineral accumulation to the point where it restricts the flow. This home was partially upgraded with copper supply pipes, but the cost would considerable to replace the remaining galvanized pipe, which should be done without delay.

This chimney is in very poor condition. Brick and mortar deterioration will lead to water pe*******on into the fireplace causing corrosion to the damper and steel liner. The water can also cause damage to the wood roof decking, framing, ceiling leaks, and pe*******on inside the walls around the chimney. This also invites wood destroying insects. As you can see, it could be a very costly fix.

This is a picture in the attic of a home. The pipe is a septic vent pipe. This pipe was supposed to exit through the roof for the purpose of venting the septic gasses and moisture outside of the home. The condition pictured has caused mold growth and structural damage to the roof sheeting and framing, not to mention the stink! The mold was more than 10 square feet and required a mold assessment to be conducted. Mold remediation was recommended. You never know what may lurking in an attic!!
